Poster Guidelines
Posters for this conference are a key part of communicating your vision about how Kono should be in the future and how that can be achieved. Remember that the posters should be seen as a snapshot of your thoughts and views about the issues around the theme of the conference. The snapshot is intended to engage conference participants in a dialogue about Kono District, Kono's and their future and how the audience could be involved in realizing the specific views presented in the poster.
Layout and impact
Please consider the following before developing your poster:

-on a separate page give a clear title and authors name to the poster

-Please define the purpose of the poster

-Be ready to offer a quick and short description

-Make a good layout and guide readers with arrows

-Impact of the poster both during and after the conference should be great

- Desired standard poster board dimensions are:
U.S. Format—46.5 inches (width) x 46.5 inches (height)
European Format—118.11 cm (width) x 118.11 cm (height)
Delivering ahead of the conference
If you are the person who will attend to present your own work or present on behalf of someone else:
Have your poster delivered to 99 Chandler Way, London W9 1QX before the 26th of June. Your poster should be clearly labelled Kono Conference 2016 poster competition. Posters received after this date may still be entered provided there is sufficient space.
On the day of the conference
On the day of the conference please do the following:

Please pick up your meeting badge at the Registration desk. A meeting badge is required for poster check-in.

Check-in at the POSTER DESK the day of your presentation (28 July 2016). The presenter must be an author of the poster or presenting on their behalf and a registered attendee. Any posters not verified at the check-in desk prior to posting will be removed from the session.

Each presentation will be assigned a space and will be labeled with the number of the paper (e.g. KC.1) and the presenting author’s name.

The poster boards will accept pushpins which will be available in the poster hall. Please return the pins at the end of your poster session.

Refreshments will be provided during poster presentation

Competition judging
​
The conference delegates will decide on the winner of the competition on the second day of the conference. Their decision is final.
